FAQ for Medicine Ball Madness
For your convenience we have provided some of our most frequently asked questions. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.
A: You will need clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable and shoes that are suitabe for aerobic exercise such as athletic footwear.
A: We would recommend that you bring a yoga mat since we perform some of our exercises lying or kneeling on the floor. You will also need to bring a 2 to 4 pound medicine ball depending on your fitness level.
A: Rigorous activity burns a lot of energy which is what you want to do to burn fat. To get ready for the class we recommend that you drink a glass of water a half hour or so before class and eat a piece of fruit such as a banana, apple or an orange. Bring water to drink during class.
A: Medicine ball madness is designed so that you can control your own pace to fit your exercise level. We will also suggest ways to modify exercises to accommodate your specific needs.
A: Definitely not! As Personal Trainers, we wish to make this class as personal as possible. We want you to benefit from the experience. You only need to compete with yourself. We will be happy to show you how to modify any exercise to either increase or decrease the intesity to meet your fitness needs.
A: First of all we recommend that you get your doctor's consent before taking any exercise program. Once cleared for exercise you need not worry. We will teach everyone exercises that an be adjusted and modified to fit their special needs. Just be sure we are aware of your special needs.
